Introduction

Audacity is a free, easy-to-use, multi-track audio editor and recorder for Windows, Mac OS X, GNU/Linux and other operating systems. The interface is translated into many languages.

Step 3- To Start Recording,

In the menu Icon list, there is Red colour circle Icon available. Move the mouse courser there and click. or Go to from menu list transport > click on record. and to stop recording click on "Sqaure" button in tool bar.

Step 4 -Add new track

Tracks menu > add new > audio track

Step 5-add Multiple tracks, we can add more tracks as per requirements Step 6- To delete the part of track, select the area of track to delete, and press delete.

File formats for creation

Saving the file

After completing the editing task, if we need a output final file, then go to FILE from menubar and select EXPORT option and the select file format as MP3 and click export. We can also save as project to continue the edits, for this then go to FILE from menubar and select SAVE .

Export and publishing files

Can export its file as MP3.
