- Introduction to working with a concept mapping tool
- There are different formats in which data can be captured
- One data format can be converted to another and multiple formats can be combined
Description of activity with detailed steps
Teacher led activity
- Your teacher will take you through a process of explaining data organization and method. For this she will use a concept mapping tool.
- We will use an existing data set to work on this. (We will use the languages of India map used in the previous activity)
- Your teacher will discuss with you how the mind map can be used to organize a process as well as be used as an output format. The mind map can be used as a live mind map or as an image.
- The mind map to explore the data is given below.

Student activities
- For the data collection activities described in the previous section, make a min map representing the various data elements, the methods of organizing and possible ways of representing
- You can create a mind map as an introduction to the data analysis and store it in your folder.
