To understand the context, challenges, beliefs and practices of participants prior to the workshop.

Process

Online Focus Group Discussion

A discussion on participants' context, challenges and beliefs followed by a short survey questionnaire to be filled by them during the session

In-person discussion and Worksheet

  1. What are you most passionate about?
  2. Do you enjoy teaching? Why?
  3. How do you think your students learn best?
  4. How do your students like to be taught?
  5. Who are the 3 most interactive students in your class? Describe them. Include gender, background, medium of instruction, etc
  6. Who are the 3 least interactive students in your class? Describe them. Include gender, background, medium of instruction, etc

In-person audio recording by teachers based on situation/question prompts

Go through the ELL stories and pick up one that you have tried out in your class. How did you demonstrate the use of ELL and it’s digital integrated activities? Describe what you did in the session by including details of ICT tools used, pedagogies used, assessment strategies, etc.

Participants record their response as written or audio.
