Introduction

Ubuntu is a Linux based Operating System(OS) and it is a Free and Open Source Software(FOSS). Ubuntu installation is an very simple installation process. In any computer we can install any Operating System, only computer should reach minimum hardware requirement as per the OS required.

Basic requirement

Installing any Operating System in any computers, there will be minimum hardware and software requirement is required.

Hardware requirement

Below are the minimum hardware requirement in a computer.

  1. Minimum 40GB or above free/empty separate partition.
  2. Minimum 2GB or above RAM is required for better performance.
  3. DVD reader or USB bootable support port.
  4. Electric power should not be cut down while installing.

Software requirement

  1. Only you need Ubuntu software in a DVD or in a pendrive(as bootable USB).

Installation Process

Installing Ubuntu OS is as easy as installing any small desktop applications. Before installing any Operating systems in any computers you need to cross check all the hardware and existed OS condition. like
1. DVD reader, computer Hard disk.
2. Existed OS details.
3. Free separate partition in a computer.
