  1. Computer lab with projection equipment
  2. Number patterns worksheets (for students to explore, create)
  3. Handout for LibreOffice Calc
  4. Handout for LibreOffice Writer

Digital skills

  1. Working with spreadsheets for entering numbers
  2. Getting familiar with simple operations in a spreadsheet

Description of activity with detailed steps

Teacher led activity

  1. Your teacher will show you the spreadsheet with some numbers
  2. She will demonstrate how you can use the spreadsheet to understand a pattern
  3. She will show you how to create a given pattern

Student activities

  1. Individual spreadsheet patterns – Your teacher will give you some sheets for number patterns, you can create them with the spreadsheet
  2. Group activities – Did you ever imagine a calendar can be so much fun? In groups, create the patterns in the spreadsheet.
