Background

The International Centre for Environment Audit and Sustainable Development (iCED), set up by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India in 2010 for capacity building of auditors on issues related to environment and sustainable development, is a Global Training Facility (GTF) for the training of auditors.

As part of its mandate for capacity building activities, iCED is holding a National Training Programme on Audit of Universalisation of Education from 14 May to 18 May 2018 for officers of Indian Audit & Accounts Department, for capacity building of participants on issues relating to School Education in India, Right to Education, Inclusion and Equity, Importance of Physical Infrastructure, Use of ICT and Quality Issues in School Education, Embedding global citizenship concepts in education (SDG 4.7), Audit of Universalisation of Education etc.
