You can create small picture stories by combining images which you have edited with the image editor with text, in a text editor. Picture stories can support basic language learning. You can create bi-lingual story books also, so that strength in one language can be used to acquire a second language. (See simple picture stories created by students).

In your Kannada and English language source books, you have many stories and essays in the exercises. Try to convert these into picture stories/essays, by adding relevant images, which you have accessed/downloaded and edited, or created.
Tip - You can put your ideas in a concept map first, before you write out your story. You should always prepare a concept map before every article or story you write. The concept map will help you write out all the ideas you want to cover, and help you place them in relationship to one another. Since you can create or move the nodes easily in a digital concept map, this will help you think in an iterative manner to revise and refine your ideas well before you actually write the story or article.
