The spread of the Corona virus and the lockdown are unprecedented events in our lives. Most people have been unprepared for it, physically, psychologically and emotionally.

A lot of work is being given to children during this time to help them learn from home. Yet the experience coping with the pandemic itself lends to a lot of learning.

This is a time when we could help children keep their eyes, ears and hearts open, help them cope with the sudden confinement while being aware of and sensitive to the changes around them. It is also a time to teach cooperation and empathy while keeping them creatively engaged. With this Curriculum we are presenting 50 Think-Write Worksheets which can be used for diverse age groups.

The worksheets include diverse themes in a diverse context with instructions to observe, think and write. If you are able to reach out to children during this distance the following mediums can be used to work on some of the sheets that you may choose to use –

IVRS Message – create a message around a worksheet and guide children to do it on their own. (see a sample in the folder)

Whatsapp – On Whatsapp, the worksheet format can be shared and children can be asked to write in their copies and then share what they have written. (see a sample in the folder)

Post-lockdown – The worksheets themes can also be used post-lockdown with added layers. The worksheets can be printed. Children can write and this work can be displayed.

A way of helping children work on these sheets would be to have a discussion around the given theme and then share the format to write. Discussion would give some triggers to write. The worksheets are all put together in a folder.
